Bradley's Story

If you've ever wanted a dog who looks permanently surprised to see you...Bradley is your guy! This 1.5-year-old, 20-pound cutie has the most unique, wide-eyed expression that makes him look like he just heard the juiciest piece of gossip. (He simply shows a little extra white around his eyes, giving him his signature "perma-shocked" look.)

Bradley came to us when his previous owner could no longer keep him. The sudden change left him understandably overwhelmed at first. He'd sit quietly on the sidelines, wide-eyed and unsure, just taking everything in. But as the days have gone by we've watched him slowly bloom and it's been such a joy to see!

Underneath that shy exterior is an incredibly tender, affectionate little soul. Once Bradley knows he's safe he turns into a full-blown cuddle bug. He'll politely nudge you with his nose as if to say, "Excuse me, I believe it's time for me to be held now," and then happily curl up in your lap like he was made to be there. He adores kisses, gentle affection, and simply feeling wanted. Being close to his person is his favorite place in the world.

Bradley can still be a bit shy with new people and isn't a fan of loud or chaotic environments, so he'll thrive with a patient adopter who can give him time to warm up and continue building confidence. He does great with other dogs and has previously done well with children, too. While he hasn't been the biggest fan of cats in the past, the right introductions could make all the difference.

Bradley doesn't need a big, flashy life - he just needs someone steady, kind, and loving. In return, he'll give you devotion, sweetness, and the most endearing little face you've ever seen. He's not just special because of his eyes... he's special because of his heart. If you're looking for a loyal little shadow who just wants to be loved and held close, Bradley is waiting for you. Please inquire today!
