Bradley's Story

Hi! I’m Bradley — and I’m Ready for My Turn

Hello there, future best friend! My name is Bradley, and I’ve been told I have a very good story to tell—so I’ll jump right in (tail wagging the whole time).

I started my journey in Yuma, where I was picked up as a stray alongside my brother, Abraham. We stuck together through everything at first, keeping each other company and dreaming about comfy beds and loving humans. Guess what? Abraham already found his forever home, and while I’m over-the-moon happy for him, I know it’s my turn now. I’ve been patient, hopeful, and ready for what’s next—especially after waiting so long.

I’m a shepherd mix, about two years old, and if I do say so myself, I’m at that perfect age where I’ve got the energy for fun and the maturity to be a great companion. While I was at the Humane Society, I became one of their longer-term residents—spending five to six months there before I finally got a ride to Central Arizona Animal Rescue. Let me tell you, that ride felt like the start of a brand-new chapter. Now I’m here, waiting for the happily-ever-after that I’ve been working so hard for.

Let’s talk personality—because that’s where I really shine. I’m currently sharing a kennel with a female dog, and we get along fantastically. We play, run, chase each other around, and generally have a blast. I’m the kind of guy who loves a good game of tag and knows how to keep things friendly and fun. I also do really well with people—I enjoy attention, affection, and spending time with my humans. I can’t say for sure how I feel about cats yet, though I might be tempted to chase them if they zoom by... so that’s something to keep in mind.

If you’re someone who enjoys the outdoors, I think we might be a perfect match. I would make an awesome hiking buddy, adventure partner, and loyal sidekick for exploring trails, soaking up sunshine, and breathing in fresh air. At around 50 pounds, I’m not too big and not too small—just right for keeping up without bowling you over. And when the adventure is done? I’m more than happy to curl up on the couch with you and watch movies. I promise I won’t hog all the space (well... I’ll try).

Oh! And let’s cover the important grown-up stuff. I’m already:

âœ... Neutered

âœ... Current on all my vaccinations

âœ... Microchipped—so I’ll never get lost again

That means I’m totally ready to go home with you and start our life together right away.

I’ve waited a long time for someone to choose me, but I haven’t let that dim my spirit. I’m still hopeful, friendly, playful, and full of love—I just need the right person to see me and say, “That’s my dog.”

If you think we might be a match and you’d like to meet me, please have your human email Mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment. I’ll be right here at Central Arizona Animal Rescue, dreaming of hikes, couch cuddles, and a forever home that finally includes me.

Hope to see you soon,

Bradley ❤ï ̧

PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt.
