He came into the shelter with a broken leg and a serious wound that only got worse while he was there. After a month, he ended up on the euthanasia list. Hearts For Paws stepped in, and with help from UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, Brad Pitt is getting a new chance for the life he deserves.<br/><br/>Because of the damage to his leg, Brad Pitt is now undergoing amputation surgery. It is a big step, but it will give him the best chance to heal, be comfortable, and move forward with his forever family.<br/><br/>He is a beautiful, people-loving dog with so much life ahead of him. Right now, he needs help covering his medical care and finding the right place to call his forever home.<br/><br/>Please consider donating, fostering, adopting, or simply sharing Brad Pitt’s story. If it sounds like a match for you, and for the dog, we will promptly schedule a zoom interview with an adoption counselor + virtual home tour 3. If both parties are comfortable proceeding after the interview, we will set up an in-person meet and greet to meet w/ the adoptable dog & all household members (heartsforpawsrescue.com/meet-greet-info) **Some meet and greets may end in an adoption that same day, or we may schedule a follow-up. HFP reserves the right to a post-adoption home check. Other: We do not require all adopters to enroll with trainers, but we do highly encourage this to get started on the right path with your new BFF. In some cases, HFP may require enrollment in training on a case-by-case basis for first-time adopters or specific dogs with special behavioral needs.
