Bozo

Meet Bozo! This sweet guy is under a year old, about 26 pounds, and full of puppy energy. He is currently living with another dog and they get along great. He loves playtime, fetch and tug-of-war but when playtime is over, he's a super affectionate snuggle bug. <br/><br/>Bozo was found as a stray about four to five weeks ago and appears to have been recently abandoned. He was dirty and had a ring around his neck from a collar that had been too small. Despite his rough start, he's incredibly loving and resilient.<br/><br/>While Bozo is making progress every day, he is still a puppy who is learning. He's about 99% house trained, with the help of a dog door and access to a yard. He's definitely in a chewing phase and, as a terrier mix, may always appreciate having appropriate chew toys on hand. He's not fully crate trained yet, but that training has just begun and he's doing great. On walks, he's learning basic commands and making progress, though he's strong, pulls on leash, and gets very excited about bicyclists. Because of this, he'll need an adopter who's patient and committed to continuing his training and helping him learn good manners. But he is very intelligent and has been learning quickly!<br/><br/>With consistency, structure, and lots of love, he's going to make an incredible companion for an active home ready for the joys (and work!) of puppyhood.
