Bowser's Story
Bowser is ready to find his family and a home to call his own.
He was found a stray roaming the mountains of Eastern KY before he ended up at Mags and Moose Pet Resort in Richmond, KY. He joined Bluegrass Bully Rescue in April and thrived in his foster home ever since.
He quickly adapted to living in a house and in no time became the best boy.
? Bowser is potty trained and crate trained.
? He sleeps through the night and will greet you with a BIG stretch in the mornings.
? He does great on a leash and stays right with you.
? Bowser loves to play and chew on his rope and toys, so a home full of durable dog toys are a must.
? He does well with other dogs just needs a slow and proper introduction. He would do great with a dog pal to romp around with.
? He is learning a lot of commands: sit, stay, down, back up. He is still learning “leave it” and recall.
?Bowser loves to stay busy but is a huge fan of sunbathing on the back porch.
?Bowser would do best in a home with an active lifestyle that could include him on the adventures. So hiking, runs, exploring, and walks are all things Bowser loves to do with his people.
?Bowser loves food games and enrichment games.
?Bowser isn’t the snuggly type but as long as he has company he is very content.
—He hasn’t been around children so a proper meet is required.
—No cats.
There are a few things that Bowser still needs to work on:
—Not bolting through doors. He almost has this down but his adopters can be shown his doorway routine that his fosters have implemented.
—Not digging in the yard but focusing on mental stimulation helps prevent this.
-Greeting other dogs properly. He gets really excited to meet new friends.
Interested in adopting Bowser? Click on the link below:
https://www.bluegrassbullyrescue.org/copy-of-adoption...
