Boulder's Story

My name is Boulder, and at about a year and a half old, I'm living the good life. I'm a black lab, weighing in at a solid 55 pounds of pure, unadulterated energy.

Toys are my jam. I love them ALL. Especially tug-of-war! My foster sister, Molly, and I have epic battles, ripping apart toys with glorious abandon. We’re a great team, even if the toys don't stand a chance.

Outside is another wonderland. I love crunching on ice chunks, though sometimes I sneak a few into the house. And rocks? Well, those are just little souvenirs I like to bring inside. I haven't quite figured out what to *do* with them once I'm in, but they're fun to carry!

I zoom around the yard all day. This place is fenced, which is awesome because I need space to run! I sleep soundly in my crate at night. Molly and I use the pet door to come and go as we please. My foster dad says I haven't quite mastered the art of telling him when I need to go out, but I'm learning!

I have to tell you that I was pretty scare of everything when I arrived at my foster home. I'm learning to have confidence, even thought strangers are still scary.

Life is so much better now. I've learned to sit pretty for treats. My foster family says I'd do best in a home with another dog or two to play with. And maybe not with little kids because I get a little rambunctious. But hey, a big yard, a friend, and lots of toys? That's all a lab like me could ever need! And belly rubs, of course. Don't forget the belly rubs.

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
