<b>MY NAME IS BOSTON. I AM LOOKING FOR A FAMILY TO LOVE!</B><P><br/><br/>Hello. My name is Boston. I am a 4 year old neutered male Spaniel/Poodle mix. I am blind, due to neglect. I was recently abandoned in a vet hospital where I was left tied to a chair, alone and very frightened. A letter that was left next to me said that my previous owner had died and so there was no one to take care of me. I was found by a caring hospital employee who recued me and now I am staying in a warm place where I am well fed. I feel so much better – see how handsome I look in all of these pictures? Now, I want to find a family who I can love and protect. <p><br/><br/>I know I am blind . . . <u><i>but I am only handicapped if you treat me that way.</i></u>. I get around just fine on my own, using my nose to smell and touch my surroundings. I also love staying close to my friends. While I am a little guy, only weighing around 15 lbs, I have a heart as big as a California redwood! I have been micro-chipped, have had all my shots and feel that I am in great shape. I am also really smart and love to run around on the grass. If you bring me into your home, I promise you a lifetime of love and affection.<p><br/><br/><i><u>Will you be that family?</u></i><p><br/><br/>I love being around people and am really gentle with children, being a very friendly and playful little fellow. I also like being around other small dogs and cats so would make a great addition to a family who already has a little furry friend or two – but please introduce me slowly so I feel safe. However, I do kinda get scared around bigger dogs because they might accidently step on me without me being able to get out of the way.<p><br/><br/>Most of all, I would like to be held, lay my hed on my parent’s lap and sleep in a warm, soft bed. Everyone I meet tells me how affectionate, loving and cuddly I am. I also love giving lots of kisses with my little pink tongue.
