Meet Bootsy Collins

Hi, I'm Bootsy Collins, but you can call me Bootsy or Boots! Everyone says I'm one of the cutest 9 week old puppy you've ever seen. I'm a little on the small side at 11 pounds and the vet thinks I might be chihuahua-terrier mix. Terriers come in many sizes, so it will be a surprise to see what I will look like and how big I'll be once I grow up.

Like any puppy, I love to run around the yard but my ears look extra cute when I get the zoomies. They flap around and I look like I'm about to take flight! Tennis balls the size of my head are great to play with, but my most favorite game is playing tug-of-war with the big dogs. I never seem to win though. I don't play to win, I play for the love of the game.

In addition to living with 4 big dogs, I also live with a big, fluffy cat. Although I still want to be his friend, he's taught me a healthy respect for cats - especially since he is 3x my size.

My brother and I sleep all the way through the night in my puppy pen and I do a really good job of using puppy pads when I'm in there. I sometimes get too distracted when I'm playing outside my pen but my foster mom and dad don't get mad at me because I'm still a baby. For some unknown reason they've started taking me outside to go the bathroom. What am I, some kind of animal? Regardless, I do my best to appease them. If you insist on making me go outside too, I promise to be a good boy and will continue to work on going outside before I come home to you!

Oh.one more thingis there any chance we could please stay home on Sundays once I come to your house?? Like my namesake, I'm a bit of a Bengals fan and need to catch the games!
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home.

We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application.

We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information.

We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
