Bootsie's Story

Bootsie is a perfect boy who wound up being to a shelter only because his owner could not afford to keep him. He is calm in his kennel but seems sad and confused about why he was surrendered to the shelter. He eventually ended up on the euthanasia list only due to lack of space. Bootsie is super sweet, dog friendly, calm, good mannered on and off leash, plays well with other dogs in the play yard and takes treats like a total gentleman. He does love human attention and will occasionally jump up to receive a comforting hug! At just over two years old, Bootsie is full grown and weighs about 70 lbs. but is such a gentle fellow, he is very easy to handle. He will be coming to New England in mid-November and is eager to find a soft place to land and to start again with a companion or family he can count on to give and receive the love he deserves. If you are interested in adopting, fostering-to-adopt or fostering him or just learning more about him please contact soon us at villageforpawsrescue@gmail.com to inquire and to fill out an application.
