PLEASE NOTE -Sunny Sky’s Rescue is open to preapproved applicants for our dogs and cats on Wednesdays from 12-4pm and Saturdays from 12-4pm. Although our shelter will once again be open we are still following Covid-19 precautions. All visitors are asked to wear a facemask and observe social distancing. In order to have a meet and greet a preapproved application is required.*

We are still making changes to our application process and at this time we are only allowing pre-approved applicants to have formal meet and greets with the pets available for adoption. We strongly recommend visitors fill out the adoption application prior to visiting.

Boots is looking for a special forever home to give him some security and lots of love! He is a senior poodle who's last year has been a bit rough! His owner went into assisted living and this little guy was left in the house alone for months! A person came to feed him but as a senior pup Boots didn't get the care and attention he needed. He is looking for a quiet home with someone there most of the day. This will help his need for security. And on a happy note - Boots is a social little guy and enjoys his walks and meeting new people. He walks well on a leash and enjoys short walks with his people. He is just that special pup needing a special home! Boot's DOB is 12/16/06.

Dog adoption fee is $259. This includes the spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate current vaccines, microchip, and preventative flea treatment.

Our adoption process has changed during this time and we will be processing applications before having potential adopters meet the animals, this way we will be able to match families with their forever pets. You will have an opportunity on the application to let us know what type of pet you are looking for.
Please note preapproval applications are online only – there are no paper applications available on site.
