I'm a 5-year-old, 50-pound shaggy-haired sweetheart with a big heart and a love for adventure. I was found in Mexico, and now I'm hoping to strut on into the furever family I've been waiting for!<br/><br/>I'm a very sweet, loving, and independent cowboy. I adore my people, but I'm also perfectly happy curling up for a good nap when it's time to relax. When it's time for fun, though, count me in! I LOVE the beach, long walks, exploring, and making new doggy friends. I'm basically always ready to put on my Boots and go!<br/><br/>I'm great with other dogs and love saying hello to everyone I meet. I'm also gentle with kids, although I might do a little excited jumping when we first meet. Cats, unfortunately, are not my cup of tea.<br/><br/>This isn't my first rodeo! I'm fully potty trained, do well in my crate, and I'm a fast learner. I walk nicely on a harness, though I can get a little enthusiastic if I spot another animal or catch an especially interesting smell. I've also made huge progress with being alone. I just needed some time to learn that my people always come back. Even though I love meeting other pooches out and about, I'd prefer to be your one-and-only pet because, well... I'm not always great at sharing my toys and snacks. <br/><br/>My ideal home would be one where I get lots of quality time with my humans-someone who works from home or doesn't leave me alone for long stretches would be a dream. <br/><br/>If you're looking for a loyal, loving, goofy, adventure-loving companion who will stick by your side, I think we could be a perfect pair.
