Boone's Story

Boone!!!!!
33 lb compact pocket pup full of ALL of the cattle dog personality traits. Your BEST friend, go to companion, adventure seeker, snuggle bug.
Boone is a typical cattle dog full of engagement, curiosity, bravery, intrigue, work ethic, and play drive. He is a real little riot with his canine friends, always looking to tumble, play tug o war and romp. Boone comes to his name (exceptionally well), walks nicely on a leash, is around horses and ignores them and he did live on a property with cats.
Boone LOVES to play with dogs that are younger than him or somewhat non alpha. If a dog is larger than him, he will be mindful not to boss that dog around. Good choice Boone!!! (Smart Boy). If a dog is near his size and not playful he can be a little territorial typical of a cattle dog but he CAN be taken out to areas with other dogs also as any territory guarding tends to be at his own space. He is friendly with objects, taking and removing from him.
Boone is an overall well rounded sweetheart and we really would love an adopter with cattle dog experience.
You can hold Boone like a baby and he is a snuggle bug.
How Did Boone Come To Us? Read his story here:
Boone and his brother Chance, a Red Cattle Dog, were abandoned in a horrible, filthy building after the tenants were evicted. Left in kennels on layers of their own feces, no view outside, no airflow, just filth and jail. We broke them free, bathed them 2X immediately, vetted, neutered and did all the things to bring them around to be ready for adoptions.
Boone is now ready for his FOREVER FAMILY.
PLEASE SERIOUS INQUIRIES AND LEAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER SO WE CAN REACH YOU. OUR RETURN EMAILS MIGHT GO INTO YOUR SPAM FOLDER.
