He was dumped by his breeder because his coats is wirehaired/scruffy, not curly. Boone is handsome, smart and friendly. He listens well and will be easily trained to do whatever his adopter(s) wish. Boone is crate trained and weighs 47 pounds. He transferred from the groomer that actually saved his life but had no space for him. He is playful and does well with other dogs. I believe he would also be good with cats. Boone came to this rescue in August 2025 and decompressed and blossomed while waiting for the $ to come in for neuter and vetting. Now neutered and healed, Boone is posted for adoption. He is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm and flea preventives, and he is ready for a forever home. Boone's adoption fee is a tax deductible donation to the rescue in the amount of $600. Fees are required to pay vet bills and feed rescue dogs and are not negotiable.
