Boone's Story

I rescued Boone from a local shelter in March 2023 after taking him out for a day of love & couldn't bring myself to take him back so he started as a foster & ultimately just kept him. He's about 4 years old now, neutered, fully vaccinated, and incredibly sweet.

Boone is smart, quiet, affectionate, and very intuitive but can be a bit anxious. He picks up on moods and loves to cuddle or lounge close by. He's great on car rides, house-trained, good with other dogs, cats, and kids, and enjoys hikes and playtime outdoors.

I work long/multiple night shifts and travel frequently, so I can't give him the attention and activity he deserves.

Boone would thrive in a home with another pet or a family who can give him plenty of affection, space to play, and companionship. He's truly a loving, loyal, gentle soul who deserves a family as devoted as he is. He is a couch potato but also an adventurer, extremely empathetic, playful, loyal, cuddly, and intelligent. He also LOVES to fetch!

Boone is participating in The Love Pit's iRehome program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster. All behavior and medical information is provided by their caretaker, and TLP encourages all adopters to verify the information with their caretaker prior to adoption.
