This guy is the biggest goof and lovebug, hugger and master snuggler. With his cup 1/2 full, he's on the fast track to make the most out of each day. When he arrived, he was in pretty rough shape. He's added on some much needed pounds and his skin is looking much, much better! It's likely Boomer spent most of his 9yrs of life as an outside dog and his foster mom for about 2 months has been working very hard to help him heal and guide him to a new lifestyle. He's great inside- no accidents- but gets nervous and destructive if he's left alone for more than about 1.5 hrs. A home with a fenced in yard where he can relax and chill out while the humans are away from the home would be 100% ideal. Boomer has done well with the foster's female dog and has been indifferent to their cat. He can be a little picky with male dogs and may wish to dominate them. Boomer still has years of great pet life to share with the right family and as charming, attentive and doting as this chunky guy is, we know he'll captivate a new family that's willing to give him a full time pet position. He’s super affectionate and people-oriented, he is still learning "inside" manners but has done very well with potty and crate training! Doesn’t like to be left by himself for long, from what we have seen he is dog-friendly and indifferent to cats.
