I’m Boom! I’m an amazing (yes!), 1-year old, 40 pound (might gain a few more as i mature) neutered male cattle dog (mix?) who had been purchased from an Amish Farm. I didn’t like the Farm, it was lonely. After leaving my litter mates with some new people, I was in 3 different homes before I got listed on Craigslist! How confusing for me. I am such a good little pup, so sweet and happy and curious, to be handed off to different people in such a short time period was a lot to try to make sense of. I had no idea who my friends were, or that there were any reliable and kind humans! That is…until I met Melissa and her network of dog loving friends! Wow! People rock! People are kind! People are fun! People like to take care of me! Holy moly, this is wonderful! And the kind people in Melissa’s rescue network are promising that they will find me a fabulous forever home, where I will get to stay as a beloved family member for the whole rest of my life! <br/><br/>I am neutered, am up to date on vaccines and worming, and am a healthy and happy pup!<br/><br/>I am looking for someone that is familiar with my breed. We are high energy, very smart, very active dogs. This is all true of me! I am also wonderfully food motivated, which makes me a dream for training, and I am very good with dogs my size or larger. Not so good with smaller dogs and I absolutely do not want to live with cats or young children. <br/><br/>You have to know my breed to understand how incredible I am! My foster mom says that the number of amazing traits that I have is…well, amazing! And that my training ability and ability to learn tricks is off the charts! And it’s only been 3 weeks that I have been in foster care…she says that with some steady training and attention, I could be an unbelievable Frisbee dog, jogging partner, agility dog or tricks dog!!! I am all in!
