Longtimers League Feature: Boogie <br/><br/>Say hello to Boogie - a strong 4-year-old, 61-pound pit bull terrier mix with a winning smile. Boogie came into rescue over a year ago with his buddy Mister when their family could no longer care for them due to medical hardships and they had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender them both. <br/><br/>He's a big, strong boy who will need an extremely secure yard and an experienced adopter who both has patience and understands how to handle powerful breeds. He's not perfect (who is?) and has some special considerations as he is still learning. He has come a long way in the time we've had him and he's finally ready to find his forever human that will continue his training with him. He will need a confident, experienced handler who can give him the structure and guidance he needs to thrive in his forever home.<br/><br/>Boogie MUST be the ONLY DOG in the home, unless he's adopted together with Mister. The boys know each other well and can do fine as a duo, but in everybody's best interest, absolutely no other dogs/cats/pets or children please.<br/><br/>Boogie has been waiting way too long, and we know his person is out there!
