Boogie's Story

Meet Boogie, a spirited 6-year-old hound mix who has spent the last 2 years at our shelter, patiently waiting for his forever home. With his playful nature and affectionate personality, Boogie is ready to bring joy and energy to a loving family. Boogie is an expert at tug-of-war; his enthusiasm is contagious as he pulls and plays with his favorite rope toy. When it comes to fetch, he is eager to chase after a ball, showcasing his athletic abilities, and he absolutely adores squeaky toys that make funny sounds. His playful antics are sure to keep you entertained! As much as Boogie loves to have fun, he thrives as an only pet. He is looking for a home without other dogs, and he would fit best with older children who can match his energy and excitement. Due to his enthusiastic nature, he might accidentally knock over younger children during playtime, so a household with teens or adults would be ideal. Boogie is in great health—he is up to date on all vaccinations, is microchipped for safety, and has been neutered. He has tested negative for both heartworm and Lyme disease, so you can have peace of mind knowing he is a happy and healthy pup. In addition to his playful nature, Boogie has a solid foundation in basic commands and demonstrates a remarkable ability to learn quickly. He is eager to bond and would thrive with an owner who can provide him with guidance and love. If you're looking for an adventurous companion to share your life with, Boogie is ready to meet you and embark on new journeys together!
