BOO's Story

You are NOT ready for this level of resilience wrapped in 50lbs of pure, wiggly perfection.
Meet Boo. Professional heart-stealer. Certified comeback king. Full-time goofball.
At just 3 years old, this handsome Staffy boy has already survived something no dog should ever endure. Boo came to the shelter on Christmas Eve severely injured after being dragged behind a vehicle, with multiple, full-thickness paw and leg wounds. His wounds were so painful that he had to be under anesthesia just for bandage changes and cleanings.
And Boo? Boo said, “Cool. So when are we playing?”
Through close to two months of treatment, lots of loving veterinary care, and rocking the dreaded Cone of Shame for WAY too long, this boy never lost his spark. Not once. He greets everyone with tail wags, bright eyes, and that unbreakable Staffy grin.
Now that he is healed, he is READY.
Fifty pounds of muscle and wiggle
Smart boy who knows his basic commands
Very treat motivated - he sit like a perfect gentleman for a treat!
Soft, gentle mouth
Attentive on leash
Eager to please
Dog friendly (proper intros, please!)
Loves every human he meets
Boo is silly. Boo is spunky. Boo is affectionate to his core. He will zoom around the yard like he just discovered life, then run full-speed in to you with the quintessential Staffy “body-slam” to melt into you for snuggles. He is the kind of boy who makes you laugh and love until your heart bursts.
After spending almost two months isolated while healing from his injuries, Boo deserves a home full of comfort, adventure, and people who see what his volunteers and staff see. A survivor. A sweetheart. A complete goofball who just wants to love and be loved.
He survived the worst. Now he is ready for the best. Come meet Boo!
