Bonnie IV's Story

5/20/2024

Bonnie IV is an owner surrender looking for a new home.

Hi! My name is Bonnie IV! I'm a beautiful 6-year-old brindle girl that is an owner surrender due to my family not having enough time for me and I'm no longer getting along with the other dog in the home. For everyone's safety, it is best that I am the only dog in the home. Years ago I was separated from my family for 8 months and it is suspected that contributed to some of my behavior with other dogs. I am described as shy, playful, affectionate, and nervous! I am kid friendly and currently live with 3 kids (ages 2-6 years old) and love them! I have lived with a cat and did not like it so I need to be in a cat free home. I am timid and shy around strangers and will bark and run from them. I am house trained, crate trained, and sleep in my crate at night. When the humans must be away from the home, I do ok but prefer to be with the family. I am fearful of new people, storms, and fireworks and do not like sharing my people or food with other dogs. When I am outside, I have good behavior and do not dig or attempt to jump fences/gates. Some of my favorite things are riding in the car, playing catch, balls, getting love and hugs from the humans, treats, and food! If you think I would make a good addition to your family, contact the rescue today and give them my name because I am waiting to meet you!
