BONNIE's Story

This adorable 3-year-old is living her best life in foster care, where she’s been described as “funky and social” — and honestly, could there be a better combo? Bonnie adores people, and her happy, wiggly energy makes her a joy to have around.

In her foster home, Bonnie is thriving. She’s fully indoor-living approved, goes potty outside like a champ, and has even learned to coexist with socks and yarn balls... though she still thinks they’re pretty fascinating.

She can be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and soon becomes a lovable, snuggly companion. Bonnie has had positive experiences with other dogs and even a cat, though she’ll do best with slow, gentle introductions as she continues building confidence.

Bonnie is still young at heart and learning the ropes, so she’s looking for a patient adopter who can guide her as she grows into her best self. If you have room in your heart for a sweet, silly sidekick who just wants to be loved, Bonnie is ready to bring joy into your life.

Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving with you. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet.
