Bonnie's Story
Meet Bonnie!!!

Bonnie is a 6-year-old, 60-pound sweetheart who joined us from another shelter and has quickly won hearts with her friendly personality and relaxed charm. She recently spent an overnight in a foster home, where we were able to learn more about her in a home setting. Bonnie did great with her housetraining for the most part, happily met new people, and proved to be a wonderful house guest. When given the freedom to roam, she mostly chose her favorite spot—the couch—where she enjoyed napping and snuggling.

Bonnie also showed what an easygoing companion she can be. She rode quietly and calmly in the car, ate well, and didn’t get into anything she shouldn’t have around the house. She’s a sweet and affectionate girl who clearly enjoys being near her people, whether that means leaning in for pets or curling up beside you for a cozy nap.

We are recommending a home with older children for Bonnie, and we’d like all family members to meet her prior to adoption. With a gradual introduction, she may do well with another dog in the home. Bonnie is a sweet, slightly spunky lady who would thrive with a family willing to continue her training while also appreciating a dog who is just as happy to relax and unwind at the end of the day.

She is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on her vaccinations and preventatives. If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.
