Bonnie's Story

Meet Bonnie, a young female Beagle who came to us after being found on the run with her buddy Clyde! These two sweethearts have stuck together through their adventure, and while they can be adopted separately, they’d also make a wonderful bonded pair for anyone looking to welcome two loving pups into their home. Bonnie is still awaiting her full evaluation, so we’re learning more about her personality and preferences each day. At this time, she is unknown with cats or children, but we’ll share updates as soon as they’re available.<br/>If you’re interested in Bonnie—on her own or alongside Clyde—please reach out to Dessin for the latest evaluation status. This little Beagle girl is ready for her fresh start and a family to call her own!

Dessin Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
Adoption: You need to submit an adoption application. The link is below. Once approved, we'll schedule an appointment. Spay and neuter: No pet gets adopted without being spayed or neutered. We're part of the solution to the pet overpopulation problem. Ten point behavioral assessment: A formal, ten point behavioral assessment is conducted on each dog to attempt to identify aggression or behavior problems, as well as to learn about the dog's personality. This helps us determine the best type of home for each dog/puppy.
