Bonnie's Story

Our sweet Bonnie lass radiates friendliness and playfulness. Bonnie loves her day trips to the park, local neighborhood shops, or even hanging out with her foster mom and dad at the local brewery. Bonnie is a natural athlete. If you like hiking or jogging, you will have a new partner for life.

Not only is she friendly and athletic, but Bonnie is respectful of her house. She is potty trained, crate trained and knows how to have fun, but also chill at home. We estimate Bonnie to be about 1 to 2 years old. She appears to be friendly with dogs, and can ignore them on hikes. She loves to play with toys, chase balls, and if she could chase cats, so no kitties for this girl.

Bonnie is everything you want in a young petite shepherd. If you are missing that special someone for sharing your adventures, then Bonnie will be happy to fill that void.

If you would are interested in fostering or adopting Bonnie, please reach out to us at contact@sedonashepherd.com or fill out an online adoption application.

Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary's Adoption Policy
Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary has a streamlined process for applying to adopt a German Shepherd. We do require a short application be completed that includes a veterinary reference, personal references and a home visit. You must own your own home. We do NOT require a fenced in yard or prior German Shepherd experience. On occasion if we have a younger adult dog that would benefit from a more experienced handler we will note that appropriately on the dog's listing. Our adoption fee is: Ages under 3 years old: $450 Ages 3 to 8: $250 Over 8 years old: $150 (or waived) For dogs older than 10 or with medical issues we will waive the adoption fee. This is done on a case by case situation. We do not adopt puppies. If you are interested in adopting a dog under 4 years old there are a number of respectable German Shepherd Rescues in the New Jersey metropolitan area that can accommodate you, including Shepherd's Hope Rescue and Garden State German Shepherd Rescue. From time to time we may get younger Shepherds or similar working breed dogs. Sedona Shepherd Sanctuary is
