Bonnie's Story
Meet Bonnie!

Bonnie is a petite Pit Bull mix, estimated to be around 12 years old, with a heart that's finally learning what it means to be loved.

When Bonnie first came to us, she was extremely shut down and unsure of the world around her. It was clear she had not always been treated with the kindness she deserved. The moment we saw her photo, we knew she needed a chance, so we rescued from the euthanasia list. Despite everything she's been through, Bonnie has blossomed into a happy, affectionate girl now that she feels safe and comfortable.

Bonnie loves her people and enjoys spending time outside soaking up the sunshine. She's doing well on leash, is crate trained, potty trained, and already knows sit. Bonnie is very food motivated, which makes her eager to learn and a great candidate for continued training.

So far, Bonnie has done well with other dogs. However, she has shown interest in chickens and ducks, so a home without small animals would be best.

Bonnie is currently recovering from skin and ear infections and is already looking and feeling much better with treatment. Through it all, she remains resilient and sweet.

With her loving nature, manageable size, and desire to be close to her people, Bonnie would make a wonderful family companion. She is ready to leave her difficult past behind and find a home where she'll be cherished forever.

If you're looking for a loyal, happy girl who just wants to love and be loved, Bonnie may be the perfect match.

Interested in meeting Bonnie?
