Bonnie's Story

Meet Bonnie – Your Loyal, Loving Playmate!
Age: 3 years old
Spayed & Up-to-Date on Vaccines
House & Crate Trained | Working on Leash Skills
Dog-Friendly (with slow introductions)
Knows: Sit, Down, Sit & Stay (working on it), Outside, and Her Name

Bonnie is a beautiful, high-energy 3-year-old pup with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that lights up every room. She's incredibly loyal, thrives on attention and interaction, and is happiest when she's included in the action.

Bonnie is a total toy lover—she'll never say no to a game of fetch with a ball, a squeaky toy, or a good bone to chew on. One of her favorite activities is running around the yard on a long lead, followed by a cozy nap in her crate. She eats, and relaxes in her crate during the day, often choosing it as her hangout spot with the door open. She will sleep in her crate at night with the door closed.

She's house-trained, crate-trained, and currently working on her leash manners. Bonnie already knows several commands including sit, down, sit and stay (working on it), outside, and she responds well to her name. She's a smart girl who enjoys learning and thrives with positive reinforcement.

Bonnie plays well with the two dogs in her foster home after slow introductions. She hasn't been tested with cats or children, so careful, gradual introductions would be best if either is present in her future home.

Bonnie's Ideal Home:
Bonnie would do best in an active, dog-savvy home with strong, confident individuals who can provide continued training and structure. She's still working on socialization, but she's making great progress and needs a family willing to be patient and consistent. A fenced yard or access to safe outdoor space would be a huge plus, as would a compatible canine playmate.

If you're ready for a loving, energetic companion who's eager to please and full of potential, Bonnie is ready to be your new best friend

A Few of Her Favorite Things:

- Wrestling and playing tug with her doggy pals

- Begging for treats and snuggles from anyone who will give them

- Going on adventures to the beach and playing in the waves

- Being a total goofball and making everyone laugh

A Little Shy at First, But...

Bonnie can be a bit vocal when meeting new people or dogs, but don't worry - she warms up quickly and becomes a total sweetheart. Her foster dad says she's the perfect house guest, and we know you'll fall in love with her charming personality.

Ready to Join Your Family!

Bonnie is crate trained, house trained, and ready for her forever home. Whether you're looking for a playful companion or a snuggle buddy, Bonnie is the perfect pup for you. She was rescued from a rural shelter at the last minute, and now she's ready to bring love and joy into your life.

Are you ready to add some sunshine and laughter to your family?
