***Currently located in Santa Monica, CA 90402***<br/><br/>Hi I'm Bonkers <br/>I'm a fun lively little guy with a big personality and lots of love to give. I'm high energy and always up for an adventure. I especially love car rides and could be in the car all day! My next favorite thing is tennis balls . I love to chew on them and play fetch! After playing, I will cuddle up next to you but only on my own terms. I tend to be a bit of a mood-ring dog sometimes sweet and cuddly, other times independent, that's just my personality! I like to be left alone while resting somewhere and I would rather come to you when I'm done with my "me time". . <br/><br/>I'm fully potty trained and very good about not going in the house, even if it's been a long time since my last walk . I walk nicely on a leash and I won't chew on any of your stuff. I'm also super loyal once I trust you . I sometimes bark at other dogs, especially on walks, but not every dog I see causes this problem. I'm not really a big fan of cats, even though I can get along with them. I would prefer to be the only furry pet in the house! <br/><br/>I do best with adults and teens and I especially love older adults. Little kids can make me nervous and occasionally agitated. I do alright with men but they also tend to make me anxious in certain scenarios. I've got a lot of fun quirks . For one, I jump when excited and will run around the house! I like to protect our home with my big voice and will bark at anyone if they get too close. I howl when sirens go by probably due to my excellent hearing (I've got very big ears ). I'm not a super anxious dog – just cautious when i don't know someone yet. My dream home is a calm home with adults . A backyard isn't absolutely necessary, as I can be very happy indoors just chilling (if we go for enough walks.) I will need someone who is willing to relax AND play. First time owners that are dedicated to me and my big personality are fine but an experienced owner would be great too.
