Bones's Story

From Broken to Blooming — Meet Bones

When Bones first came to us, he was just a shadow of the dog he is today. Frightened, painfully thin, and unsure of the world around him, he would hide under his bed as if hoping the world would forget he was there.

But little by little, love and patience started to work their magic. Day by day he started to learn that hands could be gentle and voices could be kind.
Now? Bones has traded his fear for food bowls — literally. He proudly carries his bowl around like a comfort blanket, his own little emotional support dish reminding him he’ll never have to go hungry again.

This 1-year-old mixed breed has transformed from a skinny, scared pup into a happy, chunky boy who loves life again. He’s great with other dogs, gentle at heart, and just waiting for someone to see the incredible soul he’s become.

Bones doesn’t need perfection — just someone who understands that healing takes time, love, and patience. Could that someone be you?

Adopt Bones! The once-timid boy with the biggest heart and the cutest bowl-carrying habit.
