Handsome and fun loving Aussie looking for an active fun loving home!
Meet Bon Jovi, aka Jovi. Jovi is a high-energy Australian Shepherd mix that is approx 3 yrs old and loves to have fun! This fella is very smart and needs consistency, routine, and a little help with his manners. Typical of his breed, Jovi has LOTS of energy! He is looking for a fenced yard where he can exhaust all his Aussie energy. **No apartments!**
One of Jovi's favorite activities is running (surprise!). His leash skills need work (he's a puller), but we think he has the potential to be a walking/hiking/running buddy. Jovi also likes swimming in the kiddie pool and snuggling/relaxing after a long day of play.
Jovi has housemates at his foster home and is good with dogs his size. He does require proper slow introductions as he can be a little overwhelming to other dogs at first. Cats and small dogs/animals are a NO! Due to his energy, we feel he would do best with kids 12+.
Jovi is approx 55lbs, up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He is
housebroken, crate trained and does well with recall from his foster dad.
Jovi is fostered in Houston, Texas. He is available for adoption locally or can be transported to an approved adopter.
