Bolt's Story
Bolt is just the cutest little boy. He and his six brothers and sisters came to our rescue after losing their mom at just one week of age. They were divided between three foster homes for bottle feeding around the clock and now are happy, healthy, thriving puppies.

Bolt is special. He is deaf. This is not unusual among dog breeds that have the merle gene. Don't feel sorry for Bolt! He's perfect as he is and honestly has not clue he should hear. He is as smart and willing as any other puppy and with use of signs instead of verbal cues, his learning potential is limitless.

Bolt already uses piddle pads in his puppy pen. He LOVES our other dogs and plays great with his siblings. Bolt will be looking for a home willing to learn the best way to communicate and help him grow. He will need someone who understands that exercising his brain is as important as exercising his body.

Please research the breed. Cattle dogs need their brains to be challenged and they need a job. That job can easily be as your companion if you have a lifestyle that allows for a ride along. Other dog sports like nosework or agility highly recommended.

Bolt will be available for adoption on or after January 24, 2025. He will have age-appropriate vaccinations. He will have had proper socialization and training.

Homes in Tulsa, Oklahoma City or surrounding areas preferred. Long distance placement will be considered with exceptional references. Bolt will be placed on a strict contract that will require neutering by 10 months of age. No exceptions.

Please complete the online application found in our about information.
