BOLT's Story
Bolt, a poodle mix, came to ARF just over a year ago. A compassionate Samaritan discovered him wandering in the street, looking dazed and confused. Once the stray hold period ended, he became a part of ARF. He loves being picked up and cuddled. This playful boy adores his toys and his volunteers. Bolt will need a groomer who is patient and not hesitant to use a muzzle to ensure the grooming is done properly. He tends to act tough and wants to guard his space when someone approaches the door, but he allows everyone to stroll through his yard. With Bolt as your security guard, no one will dare enter your home without your presence. He’s all bark - just show him a squeaky toy, a ball, or a treat, and he’ll be your best friend. He is estimated to be around 3 years old and keeps his kennel clean. We’re unsure if he was allowed on the furniture in his previous home, but with a little patience, you both can build a fantastic bond. Initially, he would bolt when we opened his kennel, but he has since become more relaxed. I recommend keeping an eye on him around open doors or gates until he fully adjusts. Bolts adoption fee is $225

At this time ARF does not adopt out of state.

How to Adopt a Dog from ARF
Animal Rescue of Fresno is a Volunteer Managed & Operated Dog Rescue.
We are available by Appointment Only.
Adoptions begin with an Approved Application.
You can find the application on our website at www.arf-fresno.com

Application can be found in the drop-down menu above, click "ADOPT"
Mobile users click three lines at top of page to see "ADOPT"
Business Hours: By Appointment Only

We will review each submitted application, then contact the approved adopter via email.
