Bolo is a 8-9 year old neutered male Hound mix looking for his retirement home. He has spent his life sharing the attention with many other dog and is ready to have his own special family. Don't let his age fool you he has plenty of energy and likes going for walks although Bolo is not a fan of this bitter cold, and is happy curled up in his bed sleeping the day away. Bolo is a stately serious fellow who is happiest when he is with people. Bolo should not live with small dogs or cats. We do not know if he has been around very young children. Franklin County Sheriffs Office Regional Shelter's Adoption Policy

If you see a dog that you would like to meet, we ask that you come into the Shelter and meet the dog(s). After meeting the dog(s) we will have you complete an adoption application. We check all references and we then try to match the dog to the best home for the dog. First application in does not always get to adopt the dog if it is not a good match. Our goal is to match the dogs to the very best home for the dog(s). We do require that your current pets be current on vaccines, and that your dogs be on monthly heartworm prevention. Our adoption fee is $200.00 All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped, checked for the tick borne diseases and started on heartworm and flea & tick prevention.
