Despite a rough start in life, having spent much of his early days outdoors and alone, Bobo has shown remarkable resilience and is learning the joys of indoor living, quickly becoming a wonderful companion.<br/><br/>Several months ago, Bobo’s journey took a dramatic turn when he was hit by a car after escaping his previous home’s yard, but this led to a new beginning with a loving foster family who found him injured but determined. After successful surgery for a hip injury and dedicated rehab, Bobo is now thriving, receiving regular checkups and making excellent progress in his recovery. As of Summer 2025, Bobo is fully housebroken and crate trained, able to stay in his crate for up to five hours if he has a dog sibling for company.<br/><br/>Bobo truly flourishes with at least one other dog of similar size and energy to play with, but he is also good with small dogs as long as they are willing to engage and play with him and are comfortable handling his size and enthusiasm. While he’s gentle, his playful spirit means he may be a bit much for dogs who prefer a quieter lifestyle. As Bobo settles into his pack, he has become more independent, showing wonderful mental balance and adjustment, yet he remains affectionate and always ready to share his signature husky hugs.
