Bobby's Story

Bobby is estimated to be about 8 months old. He is 35 pounds and a yellow beagle mix. He is beagle sized. We think that he likely is a beagle lab mix (beaglador).

We found Bobby languishing and lonely in the shelter, where he landed as a stray. We have had Bobby neutered, microchipped, and brought up to date on his shots. His now is ready to find his forever home.

Not only does Bobby show beagle and lab energy, but he also still has puppy energy. He can be exuberant and jump up, especially to greet someone or if he's excited. He is good with other dogs and will run and play with them in the yard. Bobby likes to give beagle licks and kisses. Other times, Bobby will be a mellow guy, content to lay beside someone and get pets. He can walk fine on the leash sometimes, although he could learn more there and a harness is a good idea, as he can get excited if he sees other dogs. We do not know how he would do with kids, but the shelter told us that he threw up kids' underwear after arriving -- showing that beagles and mixes will eat anything.

This handsome boy is still young and learning, but sweet and loving. He is on his way to being a fine dog. If interested in adopting Bobby, please contact Eva at 916-803-4935 or norcalbeagles@gmail.com
