This high-spirited pup is always ready for action and could happily run, play, and chase a ball for hours on end. If you're looking for a dog who will keep you moving and make every day more exciting, Bobbi is your guy!<br/><br/>Bobbi is currently residing in a TCHS foster home. His foster described him as a happy boy. After a week, he had gotten used to the routine and sleeps through the night. There have been no accidents in the house. He loves to chew on toys, so durable toys are encouraged. He devours his food quickly and loves treats. <br/><br/>Because Bobbi has so much enthusiasm for life, he will benefit from some additional training - especially with leash manners and basic obedience. He's eager and energetic, and a consistent routine with clear expectations will help him succeed. With the right guidance, Bobbi has all the potential to be an amazing companion. Bobbi would do best in an active household where he can burn off his energy and experience enough stimulation to keep him happy and healthy.<br/><br/>Bobbi has experience with other dogs and has done somewhat well, but he can get a little too excited during playtime and doesn't always know when to take a break. He's been getting along well with the resident dog in his foster home, but sometimes he continues to attempt playing when the other dog has decided they are done for now. He would benefit from continued training/consistency to help him learn how to properly take corrections from both dogs and humans and to keep play sessions fun and respectful. He has been responding well to a firm "no" from his foster when he is too much for the other dog. Slow, thoughtful introductions to new dog friends and environments are always recommended.<br/><br/>Bobbi does not do well with cats and will need a cat-free home.<br/><br/>Overall, Bobbi is a lovable, high-energy, fun-loving boy who will do best with an active family willing to provide structure, training, and plenty of outlets for his energy. <br/><br/>* Adoption Ambassador (AA) animals are available for adoption but reside in a TCHS foster home instead of in the shelter. Meet-and-greets are scheduled in a first-come, first-served manner. Adoption holds are NOT accepted on AA animals unless the potential adopter has already met the animal. If you are interested in meeting this AA pet, meet-and-greets may be scheduled by calling 320-252-0896.<br/><br/>*Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
