Meet Bo - Rehoming Post
Re-homing GSD Available for Adoption;
Name: Bo
Purebred/Mix: Pure
Age: 2
Gender: Male
Spay/Neuter: Intact
Current on vaccinations: Yes
Heartworm status: Clear
Current on heartworm prevention: Yes
Microchipped: No
Good with dogs: Females yes. Other males no
Good with kids: Yes
Good with cats: Good with our cats
Housebroken: Yes
Crate trained: Yes, but if not given enough time outside and ran he will try and escape. He attempted one time when he was around one and broke two of his canines from pulling on gate.
Temperament: Energetic and slightly high strung. Medium drive. He loves following me around. I would describe him as an almost velcro dog. Very intelligent and a quick learner with consistent training. Definitely needs plenty of space to burn off his energy and would be best with a job to do.
Behavioral issues: Fairly high strung, so if not given a outlet to burn off his energy he can be fairly rambunctious in the house. As stated before generally pretty good in a kennel, but he is very smart and sometimes will try and find out the kennels weak spots to open it. Most major issue he has is over the past 6 months he has developed a dislike of certain other dogs. Our older female he gets along with, but our older smaller male dog it has gotten to where it is the reason we have to rehome. I would recommend a single dog household, or possibly a household the has a female dog.
Reason for surrender: After many hours of training and working around the issue we are needing to rehome because of his dislike of one of our smaller older dogs as per recommendation from one of our local trainers. The situation hasn't improved and sadly is the main reason we have to rehome. A $150 adoption fee is required.
**PLEASE NOTE**
