Bo's Story

If you're looking for a dog who can turn an ordinary moment into pure joy, meet Bo. Just one year old and all puppy, Bo approaches life with enthusiasm, innocence, and a heart that overflows with affection. His absolute favorite thing in the entire world-hands down-is belly rubs. Bo will happily interrupt anything he's doing the instant he sees an opportunity to flop onto his back, squint his eyes, wiggle around, and soak up all the love. It's impossible not to smile when he does it.

Bo is still discovering the world, and that includes toys. It seems like no one ever taught him how to play, so he's figuring it out little by little. He'll chase a ball for a few steps, then promptly run back to you for, of course, another belly rub. What he lacks in toy experience, he makes up for in eagerness to learn. Bo knows to sit politely for attention-sometimes planting himself directly on your feet-and he'll gladly work for treats. He is picking up his basic manners quickly and beams with pride when praised. Praise usually leads to another joyful roll onto his back.

Bo has been in some playgroups and does really well playing with the big dogs. He'll join right in, chasing and jumping and having a blast!

With his big stand-up ears, expressive face, and the adorable head tilt he gives when he's trying to understand what you're asking, he's impossible not to adore. Bo wants to please, wants to connect, and wants to be part of someone's world.

He'll thrive with an active family that includes him in their adventures and enjoys teaching tricks to a smart, willing pup. With patience, love, and lots of belly rubs, Bo will blossom into the playful, confident companion he was always meant to be.

If you are interested in learning more about Bo, please call 812-988-7362 or submit an adoption application at the link below. After the application is received, an adoption counselor can reach out to you directly.

https://www.bchumane.org/adoption-application/

*All dogs will be neutered, vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested, current on parasite prevention and microchipped.
