Bo 6165's Story

Bo was originally adopted from us in 2019 and returned in March of 2025 due to his owners moving. Since his return, he has struggled with repeated transitions in and out of the shelter and foster homes, largely due to impulse control and over-arousal behaviors. The lack of consistency has made it difficult for him to settle and show sustained progress.

Bo's behavior is not rooted in aggression, but in poor impulse control, excitement, and difficulty regulating himself. He will do best with clear boundaries, predictable routines, and outlets for both physical and mental energy. With the right guidance and stability, Bo has the potential to be a fun, affectionate companion who thrives when his needs are clearly met.
