Bo's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bo is a sweet boy that is good with kids, dogs, and people. He has "low vision" but can hear well. Due to his low vision he does get nervous when away from his usual surroundings. He has not been leash trained. He needs someone that can devote a little time to him. He is currently fostered outdoors in a 10x10 kennel.

Union Humane Society's Adoption Policy

Our adoption fee is $75.00. If the animal is under 4 months old, you will receive a certificate to take to your vet to have your pet spayed/neutered and get their rabies shot. If the animal is over 4 months old, they will already have this done. All animals will be current on all their shots and wormed. We do not have a shelter at this time. All of the animals we have for adoption are kept in Foster homes. To visit a pet you would like to adopt please call 318-620-0062

We are a group of volunteers devoted to finding “furever” homes for animals in Union Parish. Currently we don’t have a shelter. All our adoptable animals are in the care of our wonderful Foster volunteers. We are working toward building a shelter in Farmerville, however, and are always accepting donations toward that goal...
