Bo's Story
My name is Bo and I'm a 97lb, 9yr old male yellow Lab. I'm AWESOME! I came to MLRR after my family left me at a shelter and I was on the green mile. They swooped in and got me out just in the nick of time and I was so grateful. You see, I was not only very depressed and confused at the shelter, but I was also very sick. I had severe pneumonia, but today I got the all clear from my doctor and I'm as good as new! My foster mommy knew I was doing better because I have a little more pep in my step than I did a couple weeks ago. I live with my foster mommy, a 4.5yr old little boy, a doggie fur sister, and a cat. Everyone loved me from the minute they met me, even the cat! You see, I'm a real easy-going, laid back kind of guy. I'm happy to spend my day relaxing on my orthopedic doggie bed, and greet you when you come and go. I can be trusted in the house alone (even at my foster granny's house!), and I never have accidents because at this age, I know the ropes when it comes to the bathroom! I live in a home with stairs, but as I gracefully age, it would be nice to live somewhere that I could have access to the outside without having to do a lot of climbing. My foster mommy has me on glucosamine pills because my joints are a little bit stiff, but I still get around very easily. I get to go on walks everyday which I like to do and I am great on the leash. In fact, I walk on a tandem leash connected to my fur sister and we keep in perfect step with one another to the left side of my foster mommy.I LOVE car rides, and I'm really a good boy when I get to go on one. I just relax and look out the window. I almost never bark so I'm a quiet guy, but if you put on Animal Planet, I may bark a little at the dogs on the screen. I love to eat so make sure not to overfeed me because too much weight isn't good for my joints. I'm as sweet and mellow as they come, and the minute you meet me, I know you'll want to be the family that gets to show me the good life. I promise I'll love you forever!

Forum Discussion for Insert Name Here

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN -BO-, please read our adoption policies and fill out our adoption application adoption application.
