Bluey's Story

Meet Bluey

Bluey is a young Mountain Cur with a gentle heart and so much love to give. With an estimated birthday of 7/1/24, she’s still just a puppy in many ways — quietly learning about the world and waiting for a place where she can truly feel safe and at home.

She came to us from a home that, unfortunately, could no longer care for her. Even with that change, Bluey has remained incredibly sweet, just a little unsure as she adjusts to new surroundings. She’s a timid girl at first, the kind who likes to take her time getting comfortable — but once she does, you start to see her personality shine through in the most special ways.

And don’t let her shyness fool you… there’s a playful, loving pup underneath it all. Bluey just needs a patient and understanding home that will give her the time and encouragement to come out of her shell. With kindness and consistency, she’s sure to grow into a loyal, devoted companion who will form a deep bond with her people.

Bluey has lived with other dogs before and may enjoy having a canine companion to help show her the ropes. We’re unsure how she is with cats at this time. Because she can be a bit timid, she would likely do best in a calmer home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.

Bluey’s Details:
• Estimated DOB: 7/1/2024
• Spayed
• Up to date on vaccinations
• Microchipped
• Sweet, shy, and gentle
• Has lived with other dogs
• Cats unknown

Bluey may be a little quiet at first, but her heart is full — and she’s just waiting for the right person to help her feel safe enough to share it.

If you have the patience and love to give this sweet girl the fresh start she deserves, Bluey could be the perfect addition to your family.
