Meet Blueberry! Blueberry is a goofy, fun-loving 2-year-old Shepherd mix who's basically a walking good time. He's got a big heart, a big smile, and yes... Big energy. This boy LOVES his walks, treasures his toys, and shows off some pretty impressive manners - when he remembers to slow down long enough to use them. But he's not just fun - he's smart, affectionate, and happiest right by his humans' side. Blueberry truly bonds with his people and loves being part of whatever you're doing. He plays great with other dogs and would do best in a home with a canine companion to wrestle, run, and help burn off some of that joyful energy. While Blueberry adores everyone he meets, he doesn't quite understand his size just yet. Because of his enthusiasm and bouncy greetings, he would be best suited for a home with older children while he continues perfecting his manners and polite hello skills. Our little wild Blueberry is looking for a home with a firm but gentle leader who will continue guiding him toward a life of success. C.A.R.E. Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

All animals are spayed / neutered before they are available for adoption. This helps reduce pet overpopulation in the Ozarks - the highest in the country. Each animal is current on vaccinations. Both dogs and cats must receive three total sets of vaccinations to prevent deadly animal diseases. All animals at C.A.R.E. are kept current on their vaccinations while in our care (All animals are vaccinated for Bordetella or "kennel cough", DA2PPV, CVK-puppies, DA2PPV, Lepto-adult dogs, FVRCP-C-kittens & adult cats). Dogs and cats above the age of 12 weeks old also receive their rabies shots and are sent home with a rabies certificate, collar, & rabies tag. If a puppy or kitten is adopted before they have received the total three vaccinations, it is the responsibility of the adopter to provide them. Each animal has been dewormed and treated for fleas. Worms are parasites that can cause serious damage to your pet. C.A.R.E. deworms all of the animals in our care.
