Blueberry's Story

I'm just a humble ol' hound dog. Go slow with me, please- I'm all about the long game. I know "sit" and "down". I like hot dogs, calm and gentle people, gentle affection, and scritches under my chin. I'm pretty nervous and skittish in the shelter, but I'm trying really hard to adjust! At home I'll need a cozy retreat, confidence building, lots of positive experiences, and gentle people who go at my pace. I hope you'll visit me! Kids: 10+, very sensitive, takes time to warm up (treats help) Dogs: Some on-leash reactivity; little forward with piloerection, then avoids. Prefers gentle sniffing partner
