Our delightful 40lbs gal BLUE ROSE has not had an easy life and she's hoping maybe, just maybe, this holiday season she will be tucked into her new home and be the apple of everyone's eye!! When you meet our stunning grey bully mix BLUE ROSE, you too might use these thoughtful words to describe her. This appealing little lady found herself in need of a home when her family life dissolved and she was no longer wanted. Arriving pretty thin (and she still is at 29lbs!), 40lbs might be an ideal weight for her and what a true beauty she will be once she's filled out. Even now, she is turning all the heads with her sweet face and compact, delicate little body. Expect Blue Rose to be just a touch shy as your pet interview begins, but give her some time and some space and she's going to warm up, get nuzzly and even kiss you! Very calm and polite and having a bit of a fragile feel to her, she was really fantastic during photo time as she posed, slowly strolled around and unwound. Folks of most ages will feel a connection with our gentle natured girl and we honestly can't wait to see her as a treasured and very wanted pet. Will you be the one to make her dream come true?<br/><br/>Update Feb 22, 2023: Did you hear I was at an off site event today? Well, I'll tell you, I had so much fun and my goal was to make students at Clemson smile. I more than exceeded my goal, the overachiever that I am! LOL. I am a more quiet girl but I love being with people. I am not pushy but am very soft and quiet in my ways. I met lots of students and it took me no time to nicely nuzzle up to them and maybe even give them a wet nose nudge. I'm also pleased to share with you that I met 2 other female dogs and a male dog and quickly, we were all relaxing and enjoying each other's company. I even started rolling around on my back with legs in the air while playfully nosing another female dog by my side. I also started a very dilute bow down play with her which went over well. I am polite, great on a leash, loving and easy to approach. My life thus far has been a little tough. I've had lots of litters and my last caregiver was not giving me the daily food I needed and simply wanted me gone. Luckily, I now have a chance for a new lease on life. I need to still put on a few pounds (that too will come with time) but I'm otherwise healthy and ready to be your new best friend. Please ask for me Blue Rose. Note: Prior to leaving for the event, I nicely met the resident shelter cat Punkin, so cats might also be a good match for me. Kids definitely are as well!
