She was recently returned because the family didn't have space for her. She is good with other dogs, but doesn't really have interest in play.

Blue is the happiest girl - and her tail is almost always wagging. She absolutely loves everyone, and would walk off with any stranger if they wanted her to. She is house trained and does great in her kennel. She is not a barker.

Blue has a history of mast cell tumors, urine leaking, and dental resorption that her new family would need to be okay with. She will have a place in her foster home for as long as she needs in the meantime.

Adoption fee is $300 + tax (no checks)

Email adopt@newleashrescue.com for more information

Please inquire if this dog will be attending an upcoming adoption event at the Cottage Grove, Burnsville, or Forest Lake PetSmart on Saturdays from 11-2pm.

Our fosters do the best they can to provide all information about the animal's background and temperament while in foster care in their home. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.

Sometimes there is more that comes out about a dog's personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
