He’s a quick learner with a huge heart and thrives when given the chance to bond deeply with his people.<br/><br/>Blue does especially well with women and would do best in a home without tall men with larger builds or beards, which can make him uncomfortable. He would love an active home that enjoys hiking and outdoor adventures — but one with a quieter household that doesn’t have a lot of visitors coming and going.<br/><br/>Blue has a strong prey drive, which makes him unfit to live with or work around livestock or cats. He also has a medical history that requires him to take certain medications for pain and anxiety. This means his future family will need to be extra patient, gentle, and understanding as he continues to build confidence and work through any lingering challenges.<br/><br/>He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive with canine brothers or sisters. Blue also does great with respectful children and loves having a close-knit circle of people he can trust.<br/><br/>His ideal home is one filled with love and a willingness to be patient with him (and give him exercise).
