Blue's Story

Meet Blue

He is a 2 year old blue heeler that has been through more than most. After his owner passed away, he was let off his tether and ended up with an injury to his ear, something Mardi Paws graciously stepped in to cover. No family ever came for him or his brother. He spent his entire life chained outside and is now learning what it means to just be a dog. He’s neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm positive, and will need a committed adopter willing to see him through treatment. Give him the time and structure he’s never had. He’s not a fan of cats and can be selective with male dogs, so he’ll need the right home. Breed experience is strongly preferred. Heelers are smart, driven dogs and he’ll need someone who understands that. He’s not perfect, but he deserves a chance at a real life. The right person is going to get a loyal, one of a kind companion. Please consider opening your heart & home to Blue.

If you are interested in meeting and/or starting the adoption process on Blue, the first step is to please click this link and complete an adoption application : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdKJuBVKkrItDqrhKd-mDCjUFjJXkwxqzAH-Y9MII4kIX4XQA/viewform?usp=sf_link

*Please answer ALL questions on the application and EVERY PART of those questions
*APAWS reserves the right to refuse any application for any reason
