Blue's Story

Blue is a foster pet looking for a forever home! He was found near a golf course in early July 2025, and he was immediately friendly toward his finders. After an unsuccessful search for his family, Blue moved to a foster home. Blue is happiest when spending time with people! His favorite games are tug, fetch, and playing in the kiddie pool or with the garden hose. He loves bath time and bedtime, and he is the cuddliest boy after a busy day of playing together. Blue is currently working on loose-leash walking, keeping paws off countertops and tables, and greeting people without jumping. Special needs include separation anxiety, confinement anxiety, leash reactivity, and urine marking. These behaviors are improving daily with anxiety medication and reward-based training.

More info:

Young male neutered pit bull, 55 lb, estimated 1-2 years of age.

Rabies, DHPP, Leptospirosis, and Bordetella vaccines are up to date.

Heartworm negative, due for confirmatory testing in January 2026.
