Blue's Story

Meet Blue!

Blue is a gorgeous 4-year-old Yellow Labrador Retriever who we believe is purebred. At 93 pounds, he is a big, handsome boy with an even bigger personality!

Blue is an energetic, playful Lab who absolutely loves toys and balls. He has plenty of energy and would thrive with an active person or family who enjoys walks, playtime, and giving their dog plenty of opportunities to exercise and have fun.

He has been working with a trainer and knows his basic commands and has been leash trained. He is smart, eager to learn, and ready for someone who will continue building on the training he has already received.

At this time, Blue does not get along with other dogs and should be the only dog in the home. We want to be upfront about this so we can find the right foster and/or forever home for him. His future family should be comfortable managing him as a single dog.

Blue is currently looking for a comfortable foster, foster-to-adopt, or forever home where he can decompress, settle into a home environment, and get the love and attention he deserves. He is not yet neutered, but we will have him neutered once he is settled into an appropriate home. He is currently boarding, and we do not feel that a boarding facility is the ideal environment for him to comfortably and safely recover from surgery.

Our biggest goal right now is finding Blue a foster, foster-to-adopt, or forever home where he can finally relax, be part of a family, and show everyone what a wonderful dog he is.

If you have room in your home and heart for this big, lovable Lab, Blue would love to meet you!

Age: 4 years
Breed: Yellow Labrador Retriever (believed to be purebred)
Weight: 93 lbs
Energy level: High
Training: Basic commands + leash trained
Other dogs: Currently does not get along with other dogs; should be the only dog in the home
Status: Looking for foster/foster-to-adopt
