After 3 long months living in the shelter, sweet 7 yr old Blu has finally gotten out. She has survived having several litters of puppies, not being taken care of properly, having heartworms, being turned into the shelter with her canine family (daughter and three dog grandchildren) all of whom were adopted quickly while she sat in her concrete kennel alone. <br/><br/>Blu enjoys scratches behind the ears, going for walks where she can sniff and bask in the sun, going for car rides, doesn’t matter if it’s a short ride to the mailbox or a long ride to the park. Blu also LOVES to play ball, she really enjoys a good soccer or basketball, a tennis ball will do just fine for her as well. She is perfectly happy to just hang out with you while you watch TV or work from home, she won’t even bother you, just wants to be near you.<br/><br/>Blu is a tough old girl, she’s had quite the life and a story to tell. She is currently looking for a home to live out her years in peace and companionship. Blu is super sweet, crate trained, housetrained, gets along well with cats and people. She is however, a bit particular of other dogs, given her history, she’s used to being the “Woman in Charge” and would prefer to be an only dog.<br/><br/>Blu isn’t particular about what kind of house she has, just a place with a soft dog bed to lay on, folks that will give her attention and love her for the super sweet girl she is. Please won’t you consider giving Blu a chance?<br/><br/>Blu is now spayed, treated for heartworms, current on vaccines and microchipped.
